You ever have that feeling that says you are being appreciated for only ONE thing you do?... I've been having this feeling ever since I started devoting attention to my "A Robot's Tale" project. To give you an idea of what I'm referring to, I'll bring up this comment from an ex-watcher of mine who's name I will keep anonymous:"Man, you used to be cool. You stopped being cool as soon as you stopped posting underwater stuff. It's been nice knowing ya, has-been."
Now I usually don't take this on such a personal note because in the end EVERYONE has their own tastes and likes on what I create. I know I can't expect everyone to enjoy what I make, but when someone goes as far as to leave a comment like this, let alone detach himself from you, tell me that doesn't feel... just cold. There's a difference between being praised for something you have, and being praised for just who you are. I'm not trying to make a "woobie" out of myself. I'm simply stating that if you REALLY value the friends you have, do NOT make the same mistake this deviant made.
There, end of rant.
