It was a rainy afternoon in a wide open plain field. The plains were willowing in the wind, the raindrops burst upon impact with the ground and the soft rumble of thunder could be heard all around.
Among that plain field there was a figure walking under the rain. That figure was a female kuguar cyborg named Zoey. Her armor glistened humidly under the rain, her white hair and ponytail were soggy and dripping and her eyes were focused towards another kuguar-like figure standing in front of her. Curiously she gently approached it as the rainclouds were slowly clearing away revealing a halo of light upon the kuguar figure in front of her.
When the halo illuminated upon the figure, she saw it was her cousin Tom Brandon Kuguar. He had red hair, grey fur with some white markings and red stripes on his body as he wore black shorts looking at the ground beneath his feet, but oddly enough, he was dry and not drenched nor soaked at all by the rain. Zoey knew that downed head anywhere. She knew it was best to leave him alone, but in this occassion she couldn't.
She gently said, "Hello, Tom... Are you alright?" Tom just remained silent... These kind of signs always worried Zoey. She carefully approached him and put his hand under his chin. "Huh?... Y-you okay?", she asked for this was very unusual of Tom let himself be held by the chin or touched anywhere in the body for that matter. She gently lifted his face to make sure he was alright, but when she did, Tom's eyes were closed as if he was sound asleep. Suddenly, he let out a wide demonic grin and his eyes opened fiercely looking directly at Zoey. When they did, a blinding red light spred onto Zoey. Zoey shut her eyes and lifted her other arm to block the light.
At first she was shocked, but then it started to grow terrifyingly bright, until a sudden and loud burst of lightning and thunder instantaneously transported her to a test bed back at the Armstrong Robotics and Engineering facility, the industry where she was reincarnated back to life after her death in a plane crash. But when she opened her eyes, she looked at her upper and lower torso and noticed they were locked down with heavy lead straps.
She tried to break free, but before she could struggle any further, she noticed three figures approaching her. Those figures were scientists and they came to tell her certain news. Charlie Armstrong, the son of William Armstrong who was the founder of the facility sadly informed, "Zoey... It's hurtful having to inform you of this... But we have been thinking recently and finally came down with the decision to... decommission you."
Shock and horror spread all across Zoey's face. She tried to speak, but every attempt failed silently. It was as if they had removed her vocal system. "We're truly sorry, Zoey...", said William Armstrong on a large monitor. "... but it is for the best... I know you understand."
After hearing those words, she had immediattely lost all hope as she layed her head low breaking down in tears. Misery and defeat were riddled all over her mind and heart as a metallic claw picked her up from the bed and slowly carried her out of the room. "It's nothing personal... but we just want the pain to end now... Goodbye, Zoey.", concluded William on the monitor as the other 3 scientists looked at her with sorrow. She took a glance at them one last time and saw that Charlie took it the worst. Never had she endured a heartbreak stronger than this...
The claw carried her through a tunnel. Zoey sadly lifted her head as she looked forward to where the claw was taking her. She saw a light at the end of the tunnel, but it grew redder and redder. The claw arrived at the end of the tunnel and when Zoey looked down, much to her pain, she saw from a long way up a giant boiling vat of molten steel consuming and disolving all metal to nothingness. "Well... This is it... This is where it all ends.", she thought to herself. "... I'm so sorry, mother... I'm sorry, Tom... I-I'm sorry, Armstrong... Everyone... I let you all down..."
And so, with those turbulent thoughts surging through her head, the claw opened and released her. Her life, her friends, her hard work and everything she used to live for and filled her life with joy, would be gone from her reach. Tearfully, she accepted her fate as she plunged into the steel.
Suddenly, her eyes opened widely in horror as she was breathing heavily in fear... only to realize... it was all just a nightmare.
